Crafted entirely by hand, this ring represents a dance between two artist's vision, and a marriage of materials united by fire. The porcelain cabochon was hand-painted, glazed, and fired by Tara. It's inspiration comes from our interactions with wild Loons (Gavia Immer) and our love of their mischievous nature, and their hauntingly beautiful howls. 

The silver shield and ring were formed by hand and stamped with botanical flourishes, evocative of the flora that often ring the lakes these creatures call home. A droplet of nephrite jade adorns the top, representing the deep green of the northern forests. 

The forged & antiqued finish will gently wear over time, reminiscent of an ancient heirloom.
